Permanent Resident Card Renewal
In order to renew your permanent resident card, you need to meet the current physical residency requirement or meet the exemptions provided in the law such as working for a Canadian company overseas or accompanying a Canadian citizen or a PR of Canada overseas.
If you do not meet the requirements, you might be able to submit your renewal under humanitarian and compassionate grounds if you can demonstrate solid reasons with strong supporting documentation as to why you were forced to remain outside of Canada.
