Criminal Rehabilitation

If you have been convicted of certain criminal offenses, in or outside of Canada, you may be eligible to apply for criminal rehabilitation in order to overcome your criminal inadmissibility to be able to travel to Canada or obtain certain permits. In order to determine eligibility for this, the factors to consider are the type of offence, the facts that led to the event, the equivalency of the offense in Canada if the crime occurred outside of Canada, the sentence received and completed as well as the date of completion of the sentence.
